We have cursors, icons, sounds and wallpaper! Turn your computer into a Lois & Clark shrine. <g> You'll need to unzip this file to run it and then run the executable. (For those of you who have no idea what that means, here's what to do in basic terms: Installation: To install the theme, first download it and then unzip it. Then go to the 'my computer' icon on your desktop, choose 'control panel', then 'desktop themes'. From there you are able to choose which theme to install, including the LNC one you just unzipped. Once installed, you'll get the cursors, icons, sounds, wallpaper, etc. If you *do not* have 'desktop themes' as one of your choices in the control panel, then chances are you are running Win95, which does *not* come with the "plus" package which allows you to run desktop themes. It can be bought separately for Win95. Win98 comes *with* the plus package that enables to you run desktop themes. How to uninstall: For the bulk of the theme, just remove it from your computer or install a new theme. As for removing the opening collage graphic, the closing wedding graphic, and the golden shield shut down graphic, they can be "searched for" and then deleted. (The following instructions are for Windows. If you don't have Windows, sorry, you're on your own. <g>) Go to your start button, go to "Find", "Files or Folders", then search for the file names: logow.sys, logos.sys and logo.sys. Then highlight them and delete. |
WAVING CAPE SCREENSAVER
The Lois & Clark Waving Cape Screensaver is here! Simply click on the link above to download it, then unzip it and run the exe to install.
Installation: Again, for those of you who don't know what this means, here's the basic terms: Right click anywhere on your desktop (not on an icon <g>), then choose 'properties', then 'screensaver.' From there, choose the LNC one to install the waving cape screensaver.
How to uninstall: Do the same as above, but delete the LNC waving cape one, or simply choose a different one.
